Pottery Intermediate Wheel
Throwing/Open Studio
This class is designed for people who can
comfortably center and throw 4 pounds of clay
independently and create pieces of their choice.
Bring your own ideas to class, or work on bowls,
vases, plates and cups. The instructor will not
be able to touch your work while on the wheel
but can provide verbal guidance. This class
includes 20-30 pounds of low fire clay, bisque
and glaze firings. Bring a towel and an apron.
$15 for supplies (price may vary month to month,
see instructor for pricing) is due the first day. No

Line Dancing
Line dancing involves dancing to choreographed
moves in a line formation and is one of the most
sociable dances. This class introduces basic

Math Bingo Plus
Participants practice mental math skills while
playing bingo in a relaxed environment. Questions
are tailored to each child based on age, ability,
and area of skill development. Operations include

Phonics Bingo

Understanding the
Common Core for Parents
Parents will increase their understanding of the
Common Core and learning through inquiry. Parents/
guardians will partake in tasks that will develop
their inquiry and critical learning skills as well as
expose them to multiple strategies of learning
a concept, similar to what takes place in many
classrooms across the district. The focus will be
on elementary math, but the instructor will address
individual questions related to other discipline areas
as needed. The instructor is a former CCSD and IB
