Over the past decade, Sister Sadie has earned GRAMMY nominations, multiple IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) awards and has starred on the Grand Ole Opry. The Cody Sisters

The Cody Sisters band is the very heart of contemporary acoustic Folk and Bluegrass in Colorado, the United States and the UK. Their propulsive instrumental solos and warm harmonies combine to grip the listener. Along with bass player Will Pavilonis, the sisters, Megan (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and Maddie (guitar, banjo, vocals), have forged a new sound that has no equivalent match in the acoustic world today.

In May of 2023, The Cody Sisters released their self-titled EP, marking a new beginning for the band. Kristy Cox has become one of the leading voices in modern bluegrass, earning acclaim in both Australia and the United States. Dubbed the "Queen of Bluegrass," she first found success in Australia's country music scene before breaking through in the U.S. with a string of Billboard-charting releases. A frequent collaborator with acclaimed songwriter and producer Jerry Salley, Cox continues to honor bluegrass traditions while expanding the genre's reach. 

She has won six CMAA (Country Music Association of Australia) Golden Guitar Awards for Bluegrass Recording of the Year, including the 2023 honor for "Good Morning Moon," cementing her reputation as one of Australia's most accomplished bluegrass artists. Old Time Fiddlers

The Nevada Old-Time Fiddlers Association was founded in 2003 by a dedicated group of musicians with a shared passion for traditional fiddle music. What began as informal jam sessions in garages and community centers quickly evolved into an organized effort to create a local chapter under the National Old-Time Fiddlers Association.

Founding members Jeanne Rozzi, Herb Rozzi, Darla Sorenson, Mark Farrow, JD Jones and Rita Jones invested countless hours researching, organizing and building the foundation of the group. With a focus on old-time fiddle tunes and a touch of bluegrass, the Nevada Old-Time Fiddlers Association became a welcoming space for players of all skill levels to gather, learn and play together.

Thanks to their hard work and the continued support of its members, the group remains an active and growing part of Nevada's music community.

Parking: There are two public parking garages and several public lots in the Water Street Business District- all free!

• The Water Street parking garage (235 S. Water St. with access off Texas Ave.)
• The Henderson City Hall parking garage (240. S. Water St. with access off Basic Road).
• There will be no shuttle service offered. If you choose to drive, please arrive early and plan accordingly. Ride share and carpooling is recommended.
• If you are a nearby resident, we encourage walking, biking, scootering, etc. to the event. Please refrain from using bicycles and scooters on festival grounds.

• All bags are subject to search.

• For parents visiting with small children, it is recommended to take a photo of your child prior to/upon entering on your cell phone. In the unlikely and unfortunate event you are separated, the current photo will help our staff be able to easily identify your child when searching for them.
