The Henderson Police Department has had 14 police chiefs since the department was created after the city's incorporation in 1953. The department started with seven officers and a borrowed patrol car from the Clark County Sheriff. The department has grown into one of the country's most technologically advanced law enforcement agencies. Below are the chiefs that have lead our department over the years.
