Get Ready To Play!

A new indoor sports and family entertainment complex has been introduced for West Henderson near St. Rose and Maryland Parkway, right behind the Chicken N Pickle.

Amenities such as the West Henderson indoor sports complex are worthy investments designed to enhance the quality of life for all who live, learn, work and play in Henderson.

Made Possible Through a Unique Collaboration

Through a public-private partnership with KemperSports, an industry leader in sports, hospitality and entertainment management, the City will provide residents with additional recreation amenities without burdening taxpayers with long-term financial impact.

West Henderson Fieldhouse is anticipated to have multi-use courts, hybrid turf fields, community rooms for family events, bowling laser tag and dining spaces, as well as, attract local and regional sports tournaments.

Henderson residents will be eligible for 20% discount on all amenities once open.

Exciting Developments Are Underway

We are proud to announce West Henderson Fieldhouse broke ground on May 21! The 160,000 square-foot, two-level multi-complex is currently under construction.

In December 2024, City Council unanimously approved the award of construction and design contract to Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and Kali Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors to help bring this exciting project to life.

The complex is expected to be completed in fall 2026.

How West Henderson Fieldhouse Is Changing the Game for the Community


Project Details

The 160,000 square-foot, two-level facility is anticipated to have the following features: 

  • (4) Basketball courts that can convert to other court uses such as volleyball
  • (2) Hybrid turf fields for sports like indoor soccer, box lacrosse and indoor football
  • Birthday party and community rooms
  • Family entertainment to potentially feature bowling, laser tag, arcade games, and food and beverage space

Construction and Design

We are taking the next step toward making the West Henderson Fieldhouse a reality. To bring our vision to life, we have selected Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for construction and Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors for design.

Our partnership with these esteemed firms will help advance our sustainability efforts and support our Economic Vitality priority by creating new jobs and providing additional recreational amenities for residents.


Fieldhouse Operator

The facility will be operated by a third party, KemperSports, a leading sports, entertainment and hospitality company that manages more than 140 golf courses, private clubs, sports venues, and destination resorts nationwide.  


Funding

The West Henderson indoor sports complex is a $70-million investment with funds provided through the private third-party partner and one-time funding sources, including public infrastructure bond sale, West Henderson Development Fund, and City Municipal Facilities Fund.
