The West Henderson Fieldhouse is now Henderson Sport & Social

Henderson's premier sports and entertainment destination opens Fall 2026.

Get ready to play at Henderson Sport & Social, a highly anticipated double-decker destination bringing together sports, entertainment and community driven social experiences in Henderson.

Located in West Henderson near St. Rose Parkway and Maryland Parkway, just behind Chicken N Pickle, this dynamic family entertainment venue is designed to be just as exciting to gather in as it is to play in.

Project Details

The 180,000 square-foot, two-level facility is anticipated to have the following features: 

• (4) Basketball courts that can convert to other court uses such as volleyball
• (2) Hybrid turf fields totaling 40,000 sq ft for sports like indoor soccer, box lacrosse and indoor football
• Birthday party and community rooms
• 30,000 square-foot family entertainment facility 
• Full fitness center
• Food and beverage experiences
• Arcade

Construction and Design

In December 2024, the City Council unanimously approved the award of a design and construction contract to Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and Kali Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors to help bring this exciting project to life.

The project broke ground on May 21, 2025, marking a major milestone in its development.

Our partnership with these esteemed firms will help advance our sustainability efforts and support our Economic Vitality priority by creating new jobs and providing additional recreational amenities for residents.

Fieldhouse Operator

The facility will be operated by a third party, KemperSports, a leading sports, entertainment and hospitality company that manages more than 140 golf courses, private clubs, sports venues and destination resorts nationwide.  

Funding

Henderson Sport & Social is a $70-million investment with funds provided through the private third-party partner and one-time funding sources, including a public infrastructure bond sale, West Henderson Development Fund and City Municipal Facilities Fund. 

Resident Benefits 

Through this public-private partnership we can provide our residents with additional recreational amenities throughout Henderson without burdening taxpayers with long-term financial impact. Henderson residents will be eligible for 20% discounts on all recreational programming and activities.
