Municipal Equality Index Scorecard

We have earned high marks on the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index (MEI) for 2024. The MEI is a nationwide evaluation of 506 cities on how inclusive cities’ laws, policies, and services are of LGBTQ+ people.

Criteria evaluated on the MEI include non-discrimination laws, the municipality as the employer, municipal services, law enforcement, and leadership on LGBTQ+ equality.

As America’s Premier Community we are determined to foster a community that is not only safe, but diverse, equitable, and inclusive for all demographics. We are proud to be a community that is ethical, compassionate and one you call home.
