Certificates of Congratulations and Certificates of Recognition may be requested to acknowledge residents, local organizations, and special events taking place within the City. The primary reasons for issuance include:

• Grand Openings/Ribbon Cuttings
• Milestone Anniversaries/Birthdays
• Significant Achievements

Criteria

• Individuals must be Henderson residents.
• Organizations requesting a certificate must have a valid City of Henderson business license.
• Certificates are not provided for groundbreaking events.
• Content considerations may include:
  • Highlights or accomplishments
  • Years of service to the community/year of establishment
  • Community impact
  • Exceptional, noteworthy achievements or milestone
  • Event information including date/location
  • Mission/Vision/Value statement
