Registration for Youth Basketball Now Open!

Children 5+ will keep their head in the game and have fun learning the fundamentals of basketball with our inclusive environment, positive coaching and balanced teams. Registration is open September 22-November 7, online here or in person at all recreation centers. The season begins in December.

The City of Henderson's youth basketball league introduces young athletes to the third largest sport in the world (over 2 billion fans worldwide). The program helps to develop a wide array of skills, including but not limited to, passing, dribbling, positional play, and teamwork. The level of skill increases progressively by division, but new players are always welcome to register. Summer basketball runs yearly June-August and Winter basketball runs December-February.

• Program capacity is limited, please register early to secure your child's spot.
• Practice days, times and locations are at the coach's discretion.
• U10 and U12 player requests will not be honored. In these age divisions teams are formed exclusively through the player rating system. If a rate-up is desired, the child must attend player ratings. Rating up does not guarantee placement in the league. Placement is based on the child’s skill level and roster availability.
• Youth Sports league timelines are subject to change based on registration, demand and volunteer coach recruitment.
• Late registration is not guaranteed. If your child is enrolled from the interest list, the late registration fee will apply.
