Open to all ages and fitness levels—from competitive runners to families and first-time walkers—these events encourage a fun, healthy and active lifestyle year-round. Earth Day Recycled 5K Run & Trail Clean Up (April 18, 2026)
Celebrate Earth Day with us on the Union Pacific Railroad Trail! Get your steps in and help clean up our community with this special 5K event in Henderson. Unused bibs, souvenir t-shirts, and medals will be recycled from previous runs. The 5K and 1 mile walk start promptly at 10am. Stick around afterward to clean up Cornerstone Park and the trail from 11 am to Noon. All fitness levels are welcome.

Sprinkle Dash Kids Color Run (September 26, 2026)
Run wild with a sprinkle of color at the Sprinkle Dash Kids Color Run at O'Callaghan Park! Prepare to race through four different color stations and get doused from head to toe in a variety of colors! After the run, put on some dancing shoes for a lively dance party to celebrate. There will be bounce houses and victory cupcakes waiting for the runners at the finish line!

Zombie Run 5K and 1-Mile Walk (October 10, 2026)
Get ready to run for your life because the walking dead returns to Henderson for their second feeding! All ghouls and ghosts are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween clothing or as a member of the undead. Souvenir medals and dry fit t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants. This is a chip timed event. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!

Reindeer Dash 5K & 1 Mile Walk (December 12, 2026)
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen...
Make a dash from Cornerstone Park to the Pittman Wash Trail this winter for a jolly good time! All little helpers are encouraged to don their most cheerful costumes or ugly holiday sweaters. Souvenir medals and dry fit t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!
