The Henderson A.B.C. Drug Treatment Court is a court-supervised, comprehensive treatment program designed for chemically dependent defendants. Participation in the program is completely voluntary and requires a minimum commitment of 15 months. Participants are required to appear in court regularly so the judge can monitor progress and ensure compliance with court requirements and treatment goals. Each participant will undergo an in-depth evaluation to determine individual treatment needs and to develop a personalized treatment plan. In addition to treatment, the court may also require participants to complete educational classes, support meetings, and community service as part of their sentencing. Participants who have not yet earned a high school diploma, GED, or vocational certification will be required to do so during the program. Job placement resources are also available to support long-term recovery and community reintegration.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Any individual who has a moderate to severe substance use disorder and/or co- occurring disorder and would benefit from an accredited substance use/co-occurring treatment.
• Any individual with unstable housing or income will gain aid in accessing these basic needs.
• An individual may not qualify if they are a sex offender, drug trafficker, have been charged with arson, or a violent crime.
• All referrals must observe A.B.C. Drug Treatment Court and read the handbook to ensure that they understand the program requirements.
• All referrals must agree to be evaluated and be truthful and forthcoming with the evaluator.
• Once an individual successfully completes the program their charges may be amended, dismissed, and/or sealed. This is determined on a case-by-case basis prior to entrance into the program.
