For the first time in 20 years, we are updating the Development Services Center (DSC) fee schedule to reflect the true cost of providing high-quality, timely services to our community. Over the past two decades, development in Henderson has grown and evolved, while DSC fees have remained unchanged. A recent cost-of-services study showed that current fees are no longer sufficient to cover operating costs, creating a funding gap that must be addressed to maintain performance and service levels.

The new fee schedule will take effect October 1, 2025, helping ensure the DSC continues operating efficiently and sustainably. While not all fees will increase, the changes are necessary to support long-term fiscal health and service reliability. Going forward, fees will be reviewed annually and adjusted using a regional Consumer Price Index (CPI) to help avoid the need for larger increases in the future.
