All-In Henderson Sustainability & Climate Action Plan

As residents of an arid region, we know the impacts of extreme heat, drought, and air quality. These challenges are becoming more frequent and intense, putting the health, well-being, and safety of our desert community at risk. Henderson is leveling up our sustainability and resiliency efforts. We need you to help Henderson go All-In on addressing these key issues to keep our community thriving today and tomorrow.

The All-In Henderson Sustainability & Climate Action Plan is our bold response. Our plan incorporates your valuable input to help prioritize the needs of those that live, learn, work, and play in our city. With this plan, we have a collective opportunity to build resilience to these impacts while conserving water, improving air quality, increasing energy efficiency while creating a more sustainable future.

Going All-In does not mean charting a new course. The City of Henderson has established a long legacy of protecting public health and safety. As we address climate challenges, our focus remains the same: ensuring a high quality of life for our residents today and in the years to come. We believe in a future where our community members can thrive, and where clean air, safe neighborhoods, and accessible transportation options are the norms, not the exceptions. With the All-In Henderson Plan, we can keep Henderson thriving – together.

Regional Sustainability Planning

The City is partnering with Clark County and other Las Vegas Valley stakeholders on All-In Clark County, a bold, solution-based plan for a sustainable future. Henderson and others entered an Interlocal Agreement known as the Regional Climate Collaborative, which defines how the partnership will work together to accomplish the goals outlined in the All-In Community Sustainability & Climate Action Plan.

Building on the efforts of the regional plan, the City of Henderson is developing the All-In Henderson Sustainability & Climate Action Plan.
