Sunrise Ranch Apartments - Late 2026

The Sunrise Ranch Apartments, a collaborative effort with Nevada HAND, will provide 144 affordable units for families, including 60 units designated for youth aging out of foster care. Additionally, 16 units will be set aside for qualifying populations, such as those experiencing homelessness or fleeing domestic violence. These efforts are part of a larger regional collaboration to address housing needs across Clark County.

Community Impact 

These apartments will be located at the eastern corner of Boulder Highway and Broadbent Boulevard. In addition to the housing units, Nevada HAND will operate community facilities that provide all residents with recreation opportunities, property management and resident services.

 This comprehensive approach ensures that residents have access to essential support services, including case management, financial literacy training and family sufficiency programs, in partnership with the Clark County Social Service Department.

Funding the Project

The funding for the Sunrise Ranch Apartments project comes from a combination of sources.  The City of Henderson is contributing HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and HOME American Rescue Program funds totaling $4.9 million for predevelopment and construction. 

Additionally, the project is a regional collaborative effort that leverages funding sources including the State of Nevada, Clark County, the City of Las Vegas and the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). This multi-agency funding approach aims to increase affordable housing opportunities in the region, addressing the needs of low-income families and vulnerable populations.
