About Henderson Shines Community Cleanup

Henderson Shines is an annual no-cost, community cleanup and recycling effort that gives our residents the opportunity to dispose of household hazardous materials like paint, oil and batteries, and recycle and/or donate other household goods responsibly. Last year residents helped us collect over 60 cubic-yards of paint, 30 cubic-yards of oil and 1,000 pounds of e-wasteall of which were properly disposed. The event also helped recycle 2,100 pounds of documents for shredding and over 3,100 pounds of donated household goods. This annual cleanup is an ecofriendly way to clear out those closets and garages of unwanted items. Get ready to load up your car and drive through to drop off!
