The distance learning school bell rang August 24 for Clark County School District students. For information on CCSD’s Reconnecting with Our Students Family Guide, visit reconnect.ccsd.net

Although all Henderson Library locations are closed in response to the coronavirus outbreak, they are now offering curbside and pedestrian pickup. Go online or call to reserve books, DVDs and more! When items are ready, you’ll receive a text message or email. Stop by anytime during pick up hours Library staff will bring out your items for safe, contactless delivery. Blue bins are also available to return items.
You can explore resources by age group: Kids, Teens and Adult. And the Henderson Libraries Home Edition features virtual story time and other fun activities to do at home. Check it out at www.hendersonlibraries.com/home-edition
CCSD Food Service
The Clark County School District will be providing free school meals to all children 2 – 18 years of age. Students may pick up meals at any food site. A student’s parent/guardian may also pick up meals for students without the child present during the meal pickup. For more information, visit CCSD’s Food Service page.
Henderson Community Education Advisory Board (HCEAB)
The Henderson Community Education Advisory Board serves as a recommending body to the Henderson City Council in working with Henderson local school precincts to foster educational strategies that are in alignment with the overarching goals and policies of the City, reflect community input and aim to increase student achievement.
The HCEAB is facilitated by the Education Initiatives Officer in the City Manager’s Office. The board is comprised of 15 community members including business owners, community leaders, educators and parents.
The CEAB holds meetings four times a year which run approximately two hours. Access the meeting agendas and back-up for previous and upcoming meeting dates here
