Mail Ballot Requests
ALL active registered voters will automatically be mailed a 2020 General Election mail ballot due to COVID-19. You do NOT need to request a mail ballot in 2020.
Each Calendar Year, a Request Is Required (With Certain Limited Exceptions)
You will NOT automatically receive a mail ballot unless you request one EACH CALENDAR YEAR in writing.
Mail Ballot Request Deadline: 7 days prior to Election Day by 5 pm
Requests must be received by the Office of the City Clerk or the Clark County Election Department.
A request form is available by logging in to the Registered Voter Services prompt on the Clark County Election Department's webpage and printing the prefilled form out (option in drop down menu).
A handwritten request is also acceptable. It must contain:
- Date of birth
- Current residential address
- Current mailing address
- Address where you want the absentee ballot to be mailed to
- Indicate which election you want the ballot for (primary, general, special or all)
After properly completing your request, email, mail, fax or hand deliver it to:
