Healthy Henderson is the City of Henderson’s
innovative fitness, health and wellness program
that encourages people to get fit and stay healthy.
It is a rewarding way to achieve your health and
fitness goals through exercise, educational and
recreational classes and workshops, special events,
and wellness activities. Stay up to date on all Healthy
Henderson activities, programs and events by

If you’re ready to get healthy, stop by any recreation
center or indoor pool and see the front desk for
information about obtaining a membership for fitness
centers, pools and racquetball courts. (Membership
options are listed on this issue’s Memberships page.)
A membership is not required to participate in the
rewards program. Program participants receive a
rewards card that enables them to accumulate points
redeemable for a reward. Be sure to get your card
stamped each time you participate in fitness activities,
• Work out in our fitness centers
• Lap swim in our pools
• Hit the racquetball or wallyball court
• Enroll in a fitness, aquatics or health and
• Attend a Healthy Henderson-sponsored special
event or activity
The City of Henderson reserves the right to alter,
amend, vary, change, or discontinue the rewards
program at any time without prior notice.
Our indoor tracks are free to use with a Participant
ID card (see this issue’s Facility, Park & Trail Guide).
Fourteen laps around the Henderson Multigenerational
Center track equals one mile; 12.5 laps at Downtown
Recreation Center is one mile.
All City of Henderson recreation and senior centers
(except Silver Springs) feature a multi-fitness center
with treadmills, stationary bicycles, stair steps, and
resistance weight machines for a total body workout.
They are open during center hours. Participants under
the age of 18 must have a waiver on file signed by
a parent/guardian. Participants ages 13-15 must be
accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to work
out. Bring a workout towel. You can pay as a daily
drop in (Henderson residents: $5 for adults, $3 for
teens, seniors and veterans/military) or purchase a
membership (see this issue’s Memberships page).

virtual tour (open the Happenings drop-down menu,
click on Recreation Centers, then select a center).
Play racquetball or wallyball on one of our courts.
Players under the age of 18 must have a waiver on file
signed by a parent/guardian (must be present). Players
ages 7-12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
in order to play. All recreation centers (except
Henderson Multigenerational Center) offer racquetball
courts. Check with your favorite center for availability.
Save When You Swim,
Work Out & Play
You can select a membership just for pool, multi-fitness
room or racquetball access. Or get more bang for
your recreation buck by purchasing an all-inclusive
Platinum membership with access to all three.
