Suspect Extradited in 2018 Double Homicide Investigation

Henderson, Nev. - In October 2018, an arrest warrant was approved for double Homicide suspect Roger Tindell for two counts of Open Murder.

On October 17, 2018, Tindell was taken into custody in California for unrelated charges, where he remained pending extradition to Nevada.

On July 15, 2020, Tindell’s extradition was completed where he was booked into the Clark County Detention Center for the two counts of Open Murder.

Suspect Identified in Double Homicide Investigation

Henderson, Nev. – The Henderson Police Department has identified the suspect of the double homicide that occurred on the 400 block of Forest Street on October 12, 2018 as 36 year old Roger Tindell. Warrants were filed this week for two counts of Open Murder through the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.

The Henderson Police Department was contacted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department advising Tindell was in custody on charges unrelated to the referenced murders committed in Henderson.

Henderson Police Launch Homicide Investigation
After Two Bodies Found
    
Henderson, Nev. – The Henderson Police Department is investigating the discovery of a deceased adult male and adult female after conducting a welfare check in the 400 block of Forest Street on October 12, at approximately 10:00p.m.

Preliminary investigation indicates the victims may have suffered from head injuries, and the incident is being investigated as a homicide. The motive is unknown at this time.

The identity of the victims, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

This is being investigated as the thirteenth and fourteenth homicide in Henderson for 2018.
