July 06, 2020

Henderson, Nev. – On July 2nd, 2020, at about 11:10a.m., City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the intersection of eastbound Lake Mead Parkway and Boulder Highway regarding an auto-pedestrian accident.

The investigation revealed a semi-truck was traveling eastbound on Lake Mead through the intersection of Boulder Highway when a male pedestrian stepped out into the path of the semi-truck and was struck.

The pedestrian was transported to Sunrise Hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the semi-truck remained at the scene, was cooperative with the investigation, and showed no signs of impairment.  Speed is not considered to be a factor.
