– In recognition of February as National Black History Month, the City of Henderson is hosting the Heart & Soul Festival from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Henderson Pavilion, 200 S. Green Valley Pkwy. Admission is free and open to all ages.
This festival of music and dance brings people together to celebrate the joy and freedom of the human spirit. Entertainment consists of live musical and cultural dance performances. The festival also includes a variety of merchandise vendors.
Food and beverage vendors will be on-site during the festival. Outside food, sealed non-alcoholic beverages, and personal-sized coolers are permitted. Alcohol and glass containers cannot be brought into the Henderson Pavilion. Blankets and lawn chairs are permitted as long as they do not obstruct another person's view. On-site parking is free.
