Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson received its second International Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for the City’s Whitney Ranch Recreation Center. The win was in the category of Public Assembly Buildings.
The Outstanding Building of the Year Awards is the most comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in commercial buildings and rewarding excellence in building management. During the competition, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated. Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement, tenant relations and site management to environmental and green policies and procedures.
Winners were announced on July 9 at the 2020 Virtual BOMA International Conference & Expo.
BOMA International includes a total of 89 local associations within in the US, plus 18 International affiliates. Its mission is to advance a vibrant commercial real estate industry through advocacy, influence and knowledge.
