Henderson Police Respond To Shooting Resulting In Death

Henderson, Nev. – On October 2nd,2020 at approximately 5:30 P.M., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Department responded to the 200 block of South Gibson Road to a report of shots being fired.

Officers arrived on scene to discover a 39-year-old white male adult with apparent gunshot wounds. Henderson Fire transported the victim to Sunrise trauma where he succumbed to his injuries. 

Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim arrived at the suspects residence to retrieve his property when the suspect shot the victim multiple times. The suspect fled the scene in a white four door Porsche; the vehicle was later found abandoned. 

The suspect is described as a black male adult of unknown age.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be provided at this time.

This is being investigated as the eight homicide for the City of Henderson for 2020.
