Henderson Police Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide

Henderson, Nev. – On August 4th, at approximately 4:51p.m., the City of Henderson Police and Fire Departments responded to the 2800 block of Sapphire Desert Drive in reference to the discovery of two deceased persons. 

Officers arrived on scene and confirmed an 82-year-old male and an 82-year-old female deceased at the scene. 

Henderson Detectives preliminary investigation revealed the incident as an apparent Murder-Suicide.

The name of the decedents will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.

As this is an open investigation, no further details will be released at this time.

This is being investigated as the sixth homicide for the City of Henderson for 2020.
