Each candidate should bring a photo ID (driver’s license or student ID), a resume if they have one, and be prepared for an on-site interview. Applicants must be 16 or older by the day of the job fair. Lifeguard and aquatic safety instructor candidates must bring proof of certification if they did not complete a City of Henderson course.
Hiring and drug screening will take place on-site.
Interviews will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, time permitting. Applicants under the age of 18 must bring a parent or guardian with them.
“We encourage high school and college students – as well as adults – seeking summer employment to attend one of our job fairs where we do the majority of our seasonal hiring,” said Shari Ferguson, Parks and Recreation director. “Our recreation centers and pools offer flexible hours and scheduling, plus a great work environment and team atmosphere. There’s no better place to spend the summer.”
Job fair attendees are encouraged to apply online in advance of the event at cityofhendersonjobs.com.
