Henderson, Nev. – The City of Henderson in partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District will offer COVID-19 testing for no charge on Aug. 27, Sept. 4 and Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Heritage Park Senior Facility, located at 300 S. Racetrack Rd.

Appointments are required and individuals of any age can be tested. Patients experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 will have a separate entry and exit to the facility to minimize exposure for non-symptomatic patients. The test will be self-administered using a nasal swab. Patients must present a valid photo identification, wear a face covering at all times and practice social distancing. Appointments for the three dates may be scheduled at cityofhenderson.com/COVID19/testing.

“Widespread testing remains the community’s best defense to limit the spread of COVID-19 and increases our ability to identify and provide proper treatment to all who have been exposed to the virus or are experiencing symptoms,” said Mayor Debra March. “Providing a COVID-19 testing location for Henderson residents using our allocation of Coronavirus Relief Funds is one of our top priorities for protecting our most vulnerable residents and mitigating the virus’ impact on the community.”

The Southern Nevada Health District will provide positive test results directly to patients. All other results will be available by accessing the SNHD’s test results website. Information on how to do this will be provided at the testing site.
