City of Henderson Extends Closures and Cancellations, Holds Virtual Public Meetings

Henderson, Nev. – In support of Gov. Sisolak’s directive to stay home for Nevada through April 30, the City of Henderson will be closed to visitors until Monday, May 4. Essential city services remain operational and online services continue to be available at cityofhenderson.com.
All City of Henderson events, sports and recreation programs are cancelled through the end of May. This includes leagues and tournament play at city facilities, events at the Pavilion and special events on Water Street. For questions about recreation programs, call 702-267-4122.
The City Council Committee, City Council and Redevelopment Agency meetings will be held on Tuesday, April 7 at 10 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. respectively. The meetings will livestream and the public can participate by teleconference (audio only) and by videoconference (using WebEx Events); no in-person attendance will be allowed. The Planning Commission meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 15 and the City Council Committee, City Council and Redevelopment Agency meetings on Tuesday, April 21 using the same virtual format. All other board and commission meetings are cancelled through April.
