When communities across Nevada need a helping hand, Henderson Fire Department is ready to answer the call.

Recently, HFD sent an engine and crew to White Pine County to assist with suppression efforts on the Ward Fire near Ely. While there, our firefighters supported the local response and helped remove brush and debris that could pose an additional fire threat to the community.

Captain Bolster, Engineer Adams and Firefighter Paramedics Cahill and Davis have now returned home safely to Henderson.

We’re grateful for their dedication—not only to keeping Henderson safe, but to stepping up when our fellow Nevadans need help. Wildfires can quickly impact communities, and having firefighters from across the state work together is an important part of being prepared to respond.

We’re proud of our crews for representing Henderson and supporting our neighbors across Nevada.
