Adoption Fees Are Half off for All Animals Six Months and Older Throughout August

HENDERSON, Nev. (July 29, 2026) — The City of Henderson Animal Protection Services is offering half off adoption fees for all animals six months and older starting Aug. 1 through Aug. 31 for its Clear the Shelters event.

Adoption fees include routine vaccines, spay or neuter surgery if not already done, microchip ID and registration, and a rabies tag or Henderson license.

There are many animals available for adoption and deserve a loving home. All adoptions are done in person, on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is necessary.

Meet your new best friend at Henderson Animal Protection Services located at 300 E. Galleria Dr., Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Sundays and government-recognized holidays). Adoptions are finalized by 4:30 p.m.
