‘Adopt a Shelter Cat Month’ Special Runs June 15 Through June 30

HENDERSON, Nev. (June 11, 2026) — June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, and the City of Henderson Animal Protection Services is celebrating with an adoption special to help more cats find loving homes.

Starting Monday, June 15, through Tuesday, June 30, adoption fees for cats six months and older will be half off. There are plenty of playful companions, cuddle buddies and feline friends of all personalities waiting to find their forever home.

Visit Henderson Animal Protection Services located at 300. E. Galleria Dr., Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed on Sundays and government-recognized holidays). Adoptions are finalized by 4:30 p.m.
