Free Skating Events Begin June 1 and Run Through F1 Weekend in November

HENDERSON, Nev. (June 8, 2026) — Skate for FREE at America First Center in Henderson! The City of Henderson invites residents to attend free ice skating events all year long at the practice home of the Henderson Silver Knights, beginning with the first skate on Monday, June 1.

Skaters of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Participants can bring their own ice skates, or rentals will be available at the arena for free on select dates.

Participants must register in advance and spaces open approximately three weeks before each event. Sign up as soon as possible as spaces fill quickly.

Free skate times and dates are on the following dates:

• Monday, June 1 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, June 9 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 17 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
• Saturday, June 27 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 1 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
• Saturday, July 11 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. (In celebration of Parks and Recreation Month)
• Saturday, July 25 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
• Sunday, Aug. 2 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 3 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. (coincides with Hot Rod Days)
• Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (coincides with National Night Out)
• Saturday, Nov. 21 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (coincides with F1)
