Molloy To Lead Major Redevelopment Projects and Drive Economic Growth Across Henderson

HENDERSON, Nev. (March 18, 2026) The City of Henderson is pleased to announce Anthony Molloy as Director of Redevelopment, Economic Development & Tourism.

Molloy has served as Interim Director for the past three months, during which he strengthened collaboration, aligned priorities across teams, and demonstrated outstanding leadership. He brings 18 years of experience at the City of Henderson, and almost 30 years of experience in public service to his new role.

“Anthony has a proven track record of delivering results and fostering collaboration across teams. His vision and leadership will be instrumental as we continue to drive redevelopment and economic growth that benefits our thriving community,” said Henderson City Manager/CEO Stephanie Garcia-Vause.

As Director, Molloy will oversee strategic planning, implementation, and community impact for major public-private development projects that support Henderson’s vision as America’s premier community. He will guide planning and investment across five redevelopment areas, driving initiatives that enhance livability, economic vitality, and high-impact public services.

Key projects under Molloy’s leadership include:

  • Lakemoor Canyon RedevelopmentTransforming a former mine site into a master-planned community with 3,000 new homes.
  • Meriden Community Partnering with KB Home to add 940 homes and expand housing variety.
  • Fiesta Henderson Site Master-planning for mixed-use development to boost economic growth and placemaking.
  • Downtown Henderson Leading the resurgence of the Water Street District to create a vibrant urban core.
  • Cadence & Union VillageDeveloping neighborhoods and innovation districts that advance livability, sustainability, and economic diversification.

In addition to continuing his oversight of the City’s Redevelopment Areas, in this new role, he will lead Henderson’s business recruitment and retention efforts to support Henderson's strategic priorities. He currently serves as President of the Redevelopment Association of Nevada, is a Board Member of Impact Nevada, holds a Master of Science from Brigham Young University, is an All-American Scholar, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
