HENDERSON, Nev. (March 11, 2026) Three juveniles have been arrested and charged in a case of vandalism at Legacy Golf Course. All three juveniles were taken into custody on March 6 and face a felony charge of destroying personal property due to the estimated cost of the damage.

HPD responded to reports of vandalism on February 21, 2026. Staff stated three juveniles riding e-dirt bikes on the course caused damage to multiple greens. Damage was estimated to be between $10,000 and $15,000.

After a thorough investigation, HPD detectives were able to positively identify the three juveniles involved, with assistance from the CCSD Police Department and community partners.

It’s important to note that e-motorcycles such as the ones ridden by the juveniles are not permitted anywhere within the City of Henderson. E-bicycles with working pedals, however, are legal on City streets, sidewalks and trails. In addition, anyone riding an e-device or bicycle must wear a helmet and use proper safety equipment.

Recent changes to the Henderson Municipal Code allow for parents to be held financially responsible for violations committed by minors. The update also allows police to impound any e-devices being used illegally.
