Henderson’s First Fieldhouse Scheduled To Open Fall 2026
HENDERSON, Nev. (Feb. 13, 2026) – The City of Henderson is excited to announce that its state-of-the-art West Henderson Fieldhouse has reached a major milestone, marking an exciting step forward in construction. The steel frame topping off the 160,000 square-foot, two-story facility is now in place, giving shape to what will soon be a year-round destination for sports and entertainment.
The City broke ground on the indoor sports complex, located behind Chicken N Pickle at the corner of St. Rose and Maryland Parkways, in May 2025 and construction remains on schedule for a fall 2026 opening.
The planned multiuse facility is anticipated to create new opportunities for residents of all ages while supporting youth sports, regional tournaments and community gatherings, featuring:
- Basketball courts that can convert to other court uses such as volleyball and pickleball
- Hybrid turf fields for sports like indoor soccer, box lacrosse and indoor football
- Birthday party and community rooms
- Family entertainment to potentially feature bowling, laser tag, arcade games, miniature golf and a restaurant and bar
Through a public-private partnership with KemperSports, an industry leader in sports, hospitality and entertainment management, the City can provide residents with additional recreational amenities throughout Henderson without burdening taxpayers with long-term financial impact. Henderson residents will be eligible for 20% discounts on all event programming and activities.
The total project cost is $70 million, with KemperSports contributing $10 million. The remaining one-time costs will be funded through the Public Infrastructure Bond Sale, West Henderson Development Fund and City Municipal Facilities Fund.
