Residents Invited To Discuss Interchange Concepts Shaped by Community Feedback
HENDERSON, Nev. (Feb. 9, 2026) – The City of Henderson, in partnership with Nevada State University, will host a community meeting Thursday, Feb. 19 to provide an update on the University Area I-11 Interchange Feasibility Study. The meeting will be held at Nevada State University (Rogers Student Center – Building C) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The meeting will include a discussion of I-11 freeway alternative interchange concepts developed with stakeholder and public input gathered at a previous community meeting.
The collaborative study is evaluating transportation along a portion of the I-11 between College Drive and Boulder City Parkway—a corridor experiencing increased traffic due to the ongoing growth of NSU. By 2047, the University’s enrollment is projected to reach 20,000 students.
