Residents Invited To Meet Local Heroes and Learn How To Save a Life in an Emergency

HENDERSON, Nev. (Jan. 8, 2026) – The Henderson Fire Department announces the dates of six upcoming community open houses. Residents can tour the station, meet with firefighters, check out firefighting apparatus, watch safety demonstrations and learn how their local station is enhancing their community.

Those interested in joining the Henderson Fire Department can also meet with recruiters and learn more about working for HFD. For more information on recruitment, visit JoinHendersonFire.com.

The Henderson Fire Department will open six stations to the community from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on the following dates:

• Saturday, Jan. 17: Station 84 (400 N Valle Verde Dr.)
• Saturday, Feb. 21: Station 97 (1550 Amador Ln.)
• Saturday, March 21: Station 98 (891 Coronado Center Dr.)
• Saturday, April 18: Station 83 (100 Burkholder Blvd.)
• Saturday, May 16: Station 85 (285 W Horizon Dr.)
• Saturday, June 20: Station 95 (2300 Pebble Rd.)
