Henderson Police Conclude Joining Forces Targeting Impaired Drivers

Joining Forces Aims To Save Lives by Increasing Awareness About the Dangers of Impaired Driving

HENDERSON, Nev. (Jan. 8, 2026) –The City of Henderson Police Department concluded its 3rd campaign under the current Joining Forces program.

During the enforcement initiative that ran from Dec. 16, 2025, through Jan. 5, 2026, Henderson Police stopped a total of 514 motorists.

Of the 514 traffic stops completed, 280 drivers were cited for speeding, 19 were cited for distracted driving, 28 cited for intersection violations and 82 citations were issued for other traffic related offenses.

The Henderson Police Department received $174,500 in grant monies for enhanced enforcement through the Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety for the 2026 Joining Forces program.
