Residents Urged to Be Careful While Picking Out the Perfect Gifts

HENDERSON, Nev. (Dec. 2, 2025) — The City of Henderson Police Department is reminding everyone to take steps to make it a safe and stress-free time of year.

To make this season a joyful one for all, Henderson Police have put together a list of things to keep in mind this holiday season. Some tips to stay safe include:

• Keeping shopping bags in your trunk and out of sight if you can’t take them directly home
• Coordinating with a family member or neighbor to pick up packages from your porch
• Always staying alert in busy stores and parking lots, especially with children
• Avoiding oversharing travel plans, alerting others your home will be empty
