- Aries master-planned community announced: 3,000 homes, 40 acres of parks
During the address, Mayor Romero also introduced the Parks Make It Possible campaign, which informs residents about a June 2026 ballot question to renew critical Parks and Recreation funding from a 1997 property tax override set to expire in 2027. The measure is tax-neutral, and a yes vote keeps the funds in Henderson to maintain and expand the City’s parks and recreation system.
