
Awards Include Elected Official, Outstanding Individual Project and President’s Award
HENDERSON, Nev. (Nov. 7, 2024) – The City of Henderson is proud to announce that it has won three awards from the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association. The winners were recognized at last night’s City Council meeting.
Winners included:
- Councilman Jim Seebock, Elected Official who has promoted the cause of planning
- Pumpkin Park, Outstanding Individual Project that significantly advances the art and science of planning
- Planner Richelle Liston, President’s Award for extraordinary service
The awards were presented at the APA conference on Oct. 22, where several team members also showcased their work on key planning topics. These recognitions emphasize the City’s ongoing commitment to High Performing Public Service in pursuit of a healthy and thriving community.
