Pools & Aquatic Facilities
The City of Henderson offers a variety of indoor and outdoor pools, competition pools and activity pools for residents, including open swim, swim lessons and more. Open swim reservations are not required.
FREE YOUTH SWIM LESSONS
Thanks to a USA Swimming Youth Learn-to-Swim Grant awarded to the City of Henderson, FREE swim lessons are available for children under 18! Classes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and awarded based on requested location and demand.
Lessons are available through the end of 2026 at:
- Henderson Multigenerational Aquatic Center
- Heritage Park Aquatic Center
- Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool

Located adjacent to Wells Park, Wells Outdoor Swimming Pool is open during the summer months for family recreational swimming. The pool also hosts a variety of water safety workshops, swim lessons and special events for all ages.
