Step Into the World of Literature with Aida Salazar! 📖

Explore the issues of identity and social justice with award-winning author Aida Salazar Paseo Verde Library on September 17 at 6pm. Salazar is a California-based arts translator, arts activist and author of critically acclaimed novels and picture books like "The Moon Within" and "Land of the Cranes". 

At this free event, kids will meet Salazar, enjoy a live reading and learn more about her creative work.

This event is held in partnership with Henderson Libraries, Clark County School District, and APPLE Partnership. The APPLE Partnership is comprised of parents, teachers, principals and city representatives that actively work to bring community resources to schools, teachers and parents to proactively help families support their child's literacy journey.
