Stand with Our Heroes at the Purple Heart Day Ceremony

In honor of National Purple Heart Day, we invite you to join us for the City of Henderson’s annual ceremony on August 7 at 8am at Purple Heart Plaza. Hosted in partnership with Purple Heart Chapter 730, this special event pays tribute to the brave men and women who have sacrificed in service to our nation.

When: Friday, August 7 | 8am

Where: Purple Heart Plaza (Corner of Pacific Ave. and Market St.)

With: Purple Heart Chapter 730

As a proud Purple Heart City, Henderson welcomes all community members to attend and show their support.

Honor a Veteran

The Purple Heart Plaza features donor bricks through a program with the Purple Heart Chapter 730. This program allows individuals to purchase engraved pavers to honor or remember anyone who has served in the United States Armed Forces. The commemorative pavers are installed along the walkway leading to the monument. Veterans honored through this program do not need to be recipients of the Purple Heart.
