Youth Skills Workshops & Helmet Giveaway

  • Date: -

Three people stand behind a table with "Henderson" on the cover, holding colorful bike helmets. A poster promotes helmet safety, emphasizing it's the law.

Youth Skills Workshops and Helmet Giveaway

We are partnering with local schools and community organizations to bring "Ride Smart. Stay Safe." to students in grades 6-12 across Henderson. These free hands-on safety and skills workshops are designed for students who ride bicycles, e-bikes and e-scooters to help strengthen their skills and awareness on the road.

Each session combines classroom instruction and hands-on riding practice led by certified instructors, so participants can learn essential traffic laws, safety rules and techniques for riding on the streets and shared paths. The goal is to help students build confidence, improve decision-making and better understand how to safely navigate our community.
