Eligibility
Deceased Veterans Panel – Deceased veterans that were
residents of Henderson prior to 1980.
Vietnam War Panel – Individuals that were Henderson residents during their service in the Vietnam War.
Killed in Action Panel – A resident of Henderson at the time of death, residing in the City from 1980 to present who while serving in a branch of military service is "Killed in Action" or died from enemy action (including terrorists) and receiving a Purple Heart - awarded posthumously - as a consequence of wounds received resulting in death.
Proof of Eligibility
Obtaining DD-214 or Seperation Papers
If DD-214 or official Separation Papers have been lost or destroyed, contact the
VA Benefits Office at 4800 Alpine Place, Las Vegas, Nevada 89106 or
to the Nevada Office of Veterans Services at 950 W. Owens, Suite 111,
Las Vegas, Nevada 89106.
