Eastern Avenue Rehabilitation Project  

September Paving Schedule

 

                                                                          

 

The Eastern Avenue Rehabilitation Project extends from St. Rose Parkway to Reunion Drive in Henderson, Nevada, and provides for more than $2 million in traffic signal communications and asphalt upgrades along this major business and residential corridor.  The project is funded by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC). 

 

Improvements Include:

 

 

  • Installation of FAST incident detection cameras on existing traffic signals at Eastern Avenue and Silverado Ranch, Eastern Avenue and St. Rose Parkway, Eastern Avenue and Serene Avenue, and Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road.

 

  • Improvement or replacement of existing asphalt on Eastern Avenue and Anthem Parkway between St. Rose Parkway and Reunion Drive.

 

  • Addition of left-turn lanes at Buffalo Crest Lane and Summit Grove Drive.

 

Addition of improved pavement markings along the corridor.

 

Project Schedule:

 

  • Phase I         March 31 – June 29, 2008                 FAST Conduit and Fiber                

 

  • Phase II        June 30 – September 27, 2008         Asphalt and pavement marking upgrades

 

Traffic Control and Access:

 

All lane restrictions and active work on the project will take place during the evening between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
