Captain Vadasy was born in Lincoln Park, MI. He graduated from Allen Park High School in 1982 and joined the Henderson Police Department in 1988.
Law Enforcement History
As a police officer, he served in Patrol and worked as a Field
Training officer and an Officer in Charge. Later he served in Narcotics
in an undercover capacity. He was also the Department's first K-9
handler. Upon promoting to sergeant, he served in several different
assignments and was a Field Training sergeant. He was promoted to
lieutenant in 2001 and captain in 2002. As a captain he served in
Patrol, Technical Services and Investigations. He is currently assigned
as the Patrol Commander in the East Patrol Division.
