Minimum Qualifications for Police Officer
- At least 21 years of age by the date of the written examination
- U.S. Citizen by the date of the written examination
- High school diploma or equivalent at time of application
- No convictions of any felony crime or a crime for which you would be required to register per Nevada law
- No convictions of any crime involving Domestic Violence
The City of Henderson Police Department is accepting applications for the positions of Police Officer and Corrections Officer. Applications will be accepted through Friday, July 10, 2015 at 5:30 pm. To be considered, applications must be submitted through the City of Henderson website.
The Henderson Police Department offers full testing services for the position of Police Officer and Corrections Officer through National Testing Network, Inc. To schedule a test, go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com, select Law Enforcement for Police Officer and Corrections for Corrections Officer and select the Henderson, Nevada Police Department. Examinations must be completed by Saturday, July 11, 2015 to be considered.
