Background
Deputy Chief Chambers was born in Germany and lived in several
states while growing up. She enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in April
1979 and completed her four-year tour at Nellis Air Force Base in 1983.
She was hired by the Henderson Police Department in September 1983.
Law Enforcement History
As a police officer, she served in Patrol and later worked as a K-9
officer. She served in Narcotics
in an undercover capacity. In 1993 she was promoted to sergeant and in
1997 she was promoted to lieutenant, serving in investigations. In 2001
she was appointed to captain and assigned to investigations. She later
served as the captain over the West Area Command, East Area Command and
Technical Services. In 2005 she was named deputy chief over Operations -
West Command. She is currently the deputy chief over the Support
Command.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration in Law Enforcement from Nevada State College, December 2005
- Graduated the 201st session of the FBI National Police Academy
