Kids Zone
Program Description
Kids Zone is an all-day program designed to entertain and enrich Henderson youth. The program is held at four of the City's recreation centers on weekdays, 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (see locations below). The program offers a variety of supervised interactive activities when school is not in session. Open to youth currently attending or having completed kindergarten of the school district year through age 12 (now enrolled in 5th grade). Kids Zone is a popular program and space fills up quickly.
This program complements our Safekey program by providing a fun, safe place for
kids during track breaks or school vacations.

Registration/Payment Methods
Initial registration deposits: Initial registration deposits are made through
mail-in registration or
online registration. Mail-in registration must be postmarked between posted dates. Parents can pre-register for any week in the session with a $20 non-refundable deposit per family, per week. See the current Henderson Happenings brochure for detailed program information and registration timelines.
Weekly Payment
Once the participant is enrolled with a deposit for a particular week(s), a weekly payment must be made to complete the registration and maintain their spot in the program. This payment can be made at the center or through online registration. Payment, in full, is due on or before 8:00 pm the Wednesday prior to each week the
child is scheduled to participate. Late payment will result in loss of deposit and the participant will be placed on the waiting list for that week. If space is then available, the full weekly fee will be required.
