ABC ETC.ABC ETC. is a state-licensed preschool located at Valley View Recreation Center for children 3-5 years old. Preschoolers must be 3 years before they may enroll in or attend the Tuesday/Thursday class. Preschoolers must be 4 years old by Sept. 30 of the current school district year before they may enroll in or attend the Monday/Wednesday/Friday class. Group activities and learning centers cover areas such as motor skills, music, singing, arts and crafts, and social interaction. ABC ETC. runs concurrently with the Clark County School District’s 9-month calendar and is closed on school holidays and staff development days. All participants must be toilet trained to attend.
State law requires the following documents to be completed before the student is allowed to attend class:
- A health statement signed by a physician/RN
- An updated photocopy of an official immunization record
- A completed registration form
- A completed youth participation form
- A copy of the child's birth certificate
Registration
- Packets will be available online and at all recreation centers beginning July 3, 2012, for the 2012-2013 school year.
- Mail in registration: Saturday, Aug. 4 – Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012
- Drop off registration: Aug. 13-Sept. 7, 2012, (or until classes are full) at Valley View Recreation Center
- Program begins: Sept. 10, 2012

Registration must be postmarked on or after Aug. 4, 2012. Be sure to include copies of all required documents. Tuition payments can be made after notice of enrollment.

After the child has been enrolled, parents can make payments online at cityofhenderson.com/parks or in person at Valley View Recreation Center within 48 hours or the child's space will be forfeited to the wait list. All participants accepted into ABC ETC. will receive a confirmation by mail. To maintain continuous participation in the program once enrolled, payment must be received by the 20th of each month or your child’s space will be forfeited.
